Start a startup by doing things that don’t scale

Myth: Build it and they will come. If they don’t, then there is no market.

Fact: Startups take off usually because the startup founders take the effort and provide the initial push to make them take off.

You can’t wait for users or the market to come to you. You have to go out and get them. Remember there is a reason we call it go-to-market and not users-come-to-market.
